For Baltimore B&B accommodation at Channel View, West Cork, Ireland
“Excellent stay”
Have just spent two nights at this lovely B&B. Margaret was
extremely welcoming and helpful explaining best way to walk into
Baltimore and giving suggestions for a route for the next part of our
journey and offering umbrellas when the weather changed. Rooms were
extremely comfortable with spacious en-suite bathrooms. Breakfast was
delicious with plenty of choice. The views from the house were fantastic
and proved a great place for bird watching.

“Fantastic accommodation for exploring Baltimore”
My partner and I stayed here for a night after exploring the Mizen Head
area. Margaret was very warm in welcoming us and explained the best way
to walk into Baltimore which only takes 10mins. The view from our room
over the channel was great. The breakfast was also really great and I
would highly recommend staying here. The house was very clean and set up
really well.

“Perfect stay!”
We were a party of seven touring around for the day in this beautiful
area and needing three rooms for the night. We saw this lovely B& B
from the road and took a chance that it was a available. It was and the
rooms were very spacious, super clean, with extra large bathrooms. The
breakfast was superb and Margaret was a wonderful hostess. The property
is kept in pristine condition and the views of the channel from the
house were inspiring.
Room Tip: Room 7 was at the end, quiet and had great views.

“Outstanding views & serene quiet at an edge of town B&B”
My partner and I stayed at Channel View B&B on a Saturday night and
loved it. The B&B commands a splendid view over a channel, and the
B&B itself is a 5 minutes drive from Baltimore harbour. Very
walkable. We had dinner at a seafood restaurant called Casey’s which was
superb. We had a room upstairs, and I’d recommend that for you too. We
live in London and the silence was simply divine. Thoroughly recommend
this B&B to you.

“Comfortable stay”
Margaret welcomed us warmly and gave us and nice room overlooking the
channel. The bathroom was spacious and the walk to town took us about 15
minutes as indicated. The breakfast was perfect, definitely the place
to stay when in Baltimore!

“What a VIEW!”
Located on a hill, it offers a splendid view. One can enjoy the view
from the breakfast room, the room window or the outside bench. The owner
was welcoming. The room was quite large and clean. Irish breakfast and
cereals. Cookies and tea available all day long. A bit far from the
village center, especially considering that there is an uphill walk
coming back and there is no sidewalk. Parking available on location.

“Nice B & B”
We stayed at Channel View for two nights in September 2014 to attend the
Cape Clear Storytelling Festival. The B & B is easy to find and has
good parking. We had an upstairs room with an amazing view. Bed was
good. En suite bathroom with shower was fine. Breakfast was excellent.
Good wi-fi in our room. Margaret had said that it was a short walk to
the ferry. I suppose that is true, but we had not realized how very
narrow the road was. Still, just a short drive to the ferry and to
dinner at Casey’s, which was very good.
